power2give.org, Houston’s funding platform for local arts and culture projects, empowers organizations to crowdfund by inviting donors to contribute directly to the programs and projects they find most captivating. With training and resources for arts and cultural organizations, power2give.org makes posting, promoting and fully realizing projects easy.
POST A PROJECT
Nonprofit 501(c)3 arts and culture organizations in existence for a minimum of one year at the time of power2give.org posting are eligible to apply. Eligible organizations must be located within the 12 county Greater Houston area, including: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Matagorda, Montgomery, Liberty, San Jacinto, Walker and Waller counties. The power2give.org projects may request up to $10,000 per posting and organizations may post up to three projects at a time. power2give.org projects may fundraise for up to 90 days, retaining all funds and/or matching funds collected up to $10,000.

*Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) operates and maintains the Houston section of the power2give.org website and collects donations directly from donors. From the gross revenues processed through power2give/Houston, 3.75% of each donation is paid to Arts and Science Council—Charlotte Mecklenburg, Inc. as royalties for the use of software and intellectual property, and 3.25% of each donation is collected by HAA to cover its costs to administer the program locally.
