Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) is proud to be the local partnering agency for the national Theatre Communications Group (TCG) initiative, Free Night of Theater, where theaters open doors to new audiences free of charge. Free Night of Theater began in 2005 in three cities – Austin, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Now, the event has expanded to more than 120 participating cities, with 714 theaters offering over 2,000 free performances that attracted over 65,000 new theatergoers from coast to coast.

Free performances in Houston will be from October 1–23, featuring a wide selection of theater, dance and music performances. Free Night Houston invites you to get free admission to productions in the Greater Houston area this October. Enter at www.freenighthouston.com between September 9 and September 23.

You can return to edit your entry at anytime (and see if more performances have been added). On September 24th all entries will become final. The drawing occurs and you’ll be notified by Sept 28th about whether you’ve won tickets. Please Note. Free Night Houston is intended to inspire you to branch out and see new performances and new companies – so take this opportunity to see something you don’t normally attend.
