Reginald Adams is known for his work with community youth, teaching them the skills to design and fabricate ceramic tile mosaics in the Houston area. For this commission, Adams worked with students from Fleming Middle School using the concept of sacred geometry to generate designs to be fabricated. The artist was able to work with a relatively tight budget by initiating his own partnerships with area business, schools, and the community. He instructed students in the design method and then taught them how to finalize that design by fabricating the hand-painted ceramic tiles in the studio. The result was an installation of 30 individual mosaic panels adorning the exterior walls of the Kashmere Multi-Service Center in the Kashmere Gardens neighborhood.
